It’s too soon to say whether or not Payday 3 pasts the stealth test or not. All the best stealth games give you clear indications of how to approach a situation without alerting enemies and then your job is simply being patient and coordinated, making a clear assessment and utilizing your observation skills. I think the game could probably do a better job at clearly communicating what to do next, but it’s hard to say only judging by this small sliver of gameplay. If I’d been playing without a heist sherpa, I’d have been totally lost. We did have a developer guiding us through, which was honestly the only reason we had any success at all. We dived right into these heists without a tutorial and a lot of the stuff we needed to do was hard to understand, with instructions for the heist and the game’s basic mechanics fairly opaque.
