That means for WG to utilize HMCS Haida's likeness, photos, videos, etc of the ship, they have to pay licensing fees to Parks Canada (how much is anyone's guess, but I'm sure it'll be a pretty penny). Parks Canada is the entity who pretty much owns HMCS Haida. In the event that is not the case, the next thing I can think of is Parks Canada policy regarding all things HMCS Haida. While I won't claim to know the exact reason, I think I can at least offer you guys a potential reason(s) for why it's taking so long.įirst things first, we all know how long it takes WG to actually model a ship and get it into the game (6 months) so it's possible that the ship is in the pipeline and being worked on. I've seen quite a few posts and threads on forums, reddit, etc of people asking why WG hasn't put HMCS Haida into the game yet.
